Next, in the lineup of hosts from The Cheap Seats, we feature Jon Lauder. Every Monday, Jon and Christian Heimall share their thoughts about the current events in sports!

With over a decade of experience in the broadcasting industry, Jon has been hosting The Cheap Seats for just about a year. Jon enjoys hosting The Cheap Seats because everything they discuss on the show includes the fans’ perspective, too! His background includes work with Major League Baseball, the NBA, the Wall Street Journal, as well as other media outlets on the East Coast. He says he’s “always loved radio and podcasting.”

Jon has also done other shows with PHM’s own Christian Heimall when they were in college. Currently, Jon works for Bloomberg Radio as a Technical Producer and News Anchor, and also teaches video production. Visit Jon’s website┬áto learn more about his broadcasting background!

When not at work or hosting The Cheap Seats, Jon spends time with his wife and 2 kids at their home in New Jersey with their dog. His interests range from food to sports to movies, and his favorite TV shows are “Parks and Recreation” and “The Office,” saying “[They] should be required viewing for everyone!” Jon’s parents and in-laws have made a big impact on how he approaches many things, adding, “They’ve set a great example for me of how to do things the right way.”

If you haven’t checked out The Cheap Seats yet, give Mondays a listen! You’ll get to hear two of PHM’s most experienced sports gurus “take their headsets off,” put on their baseball caps and let loose about their favorite teams.
